It's only tuesday and I'm already feeling damn exhausted. My eyes just can't keep wide open! I feel stressed up, how I wished my brain would stop function for awhile...

Spoke to mom yesterday about my wedding plans. The clever me has requested for washing machine and fridge for my future house but not sure she will fulfill it or not. Mom said its a must that dear's side has to give "Si Dian Jing" because I'm a Teochew. Dear is sweating after hearing this...hahaha
Getting a flat is definitely not an easy task! We are struggling between getting a new flat or resale and we have to start hunting now. I told dear that we would go HDB next month when the new list will be out.
Hmm...smoking and having lunch without my khakis is bored! Guess I will get used soon...
Oh ya...the top I ordered from Mayuki has finally arrived, hopefully it will reach Karen by this week. I ordered another 2 dresses from Catwalk, the spree organiser actually processed my order without informing/confirming. Luckily I checked her journal...

I had a coffee session with my khakis on saturday. Thank you guys for getting me the isetan voucher! I can use it to buy the MAC brush set...kekeke
After that, I met up with Darling and proceeded to Holland Village. It was still drizzling then and we were too early for our reservation. We walked around the area and it was boring!! We decided to have early dinner @ Hog's Breath. While having the dinner, both of us commented and felt Outback is still the best! They have limited variety and there's no other types of steak except for ribs. Seriously I had a hard time finishing my share and my jaw is aching from the chewing. But I like the mashed potatoes, it tasted like what we had prepared the other time. Darling kept saying his cooking is better!!
We left Holland Village around 8pm and again we roamed like stranded kids. Darling wanted to bring me for cakes but I've got no space for it anymore. We decided to bring forward our karoke session and headed to Toa Payoh. Went there unprepared and I'm sure to be frozen to death
after the singing. True enough, I can tolerate no more after two hours and we left around 11plus.
On sunday, it was even boring because darling had to work. I actually stayed home to do my stitch until darling came over in the evening. We went out for dinner and saw a red packet from my mom when I came home.
I took leave yesterday and we went to HDB Hub, wanting to get the list for walk-in selection. The staff told us chinese quota is full!!! What the heck!!! What a wasted trip...

Yesterday we went to the lawyer firm to sign the payment voucher! Finally we are getting the money soon after 8 months of waiting. The lawyer has fought for darling and managed to raise the claim to $7K. We will be putting in all our money to open a joint-account. Darling was saying these two months had been quite lucky, in terms, money has been coming in every now and then. Darling striked 4D, sold our pups and lastly our insurance claims. I told him negatively that it could be a sign we will face financial problem and this money will come to a help. I'm just a worrier!! Anyway its a blessing in disguise!!
Our KL trip is cancelled because darling's friend will be coming down with his family instead. All our plans are ruined, darling then suggested he booked the hotel room to compensate me for my birthday. Luckily I made the right decision and told darling not to, because of IMF, its not gonna be convenient and I doubt there will be any rooms left.
So sad, after today all my khakis will be leaving me for their new prospects. I'll just be a lone ranger!!

Yesterday Darling cooked steak for our dinner, had it quite late because last minute someone came over to view the pups. We had to rush back from the supermarket. I stayed home to prepare the mushroom and potatoes. Luckily the buyer bought all the three gers but will only be collecting on the 21st.
Darling stained the pan when frying the potatoes and onions, the whole kitchen became very smoky. Darling smashed the potatoes and added in milk & butter. Our menu - Beef steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom soup. The beef tasted quite alright with the ready made black pepper sauce, a little bit spicy but it was nice just that the meat was abit tough. Mashed potatoes had a "buttery" taste because darling added too much butter, but overall still ok anyway its our first try.
Darling did the washing, we quickly rushed to the room and continued watching Jin SamSoon.

Some updates....
The long-haired pup was sold last week to a Geylang pimp, hehehe...... According to Darling, the deal was closed within half an hr and this was the fourth dog he had bought from his ex-boss. Quite a generous guy...
Went to FEP on saturday, saw a quite-ok pumps but my size only left with the display pair. Ended up buying nothing, can't even get a nice bermudas. Darling then suggested we go Bugis but still didnt get anything.
Darling's family went off for Thailand yesterday and will be coming back on Wednesday night. We planned to whip something during their absence but Darling knocked off late so we gotta do it on tuesday then. I had wanted to buy bra for my top, nothing catches my eye. No choice, asked Darling to go back my place and get it, as well as my shampoo & conditioner. Hahahaha.... I know I'm troublesome!!
Well...its cal's last day! I'm glad she got a good job...gonna have farewell dinner with her tonight!
