Had wanted to eat the steamboat on Sat, we were so happy when we finally got a parking lot. Never did we expect that we were told to wait 45mins for the table if we did not make any reservation. By the time, its already 8pm. No choice, both of us were damn hungry already, went to collect our car and head to Suntec for sushi. Nevermind, at least its something I had been craving for. Luckily the queue was quite short and we got a table in 15mins. I din get to go VNC (karen had told me the shoes are very cheap)..

Yesterday we decided to try our luck for the steamboat again, this time we reached before 7pm. We got a table shortly but our friends were still on their way. We have to wait, wait & wait.... I was quite pissed off we had to wait very long for the soup. Seriously I do think their service was very bad especially when ordering the meat, and we had to pay for it.

We went to Loyang temple after our dinner. There's a BIG FAT dog, lying on the floor..Din bring my fone out so cant take its pic! Went to the 'lucky stone' for numbers and manage to figure out 2 sets. I'm gonna buy 4D.

So sad...darling is going for his reservist from 2/8 onwards!

Cancer & Virgo

When Cancer and Virgo make a love match, a strong, down-to-earth relationship with staying power is the happy result. This is a relationship with great potential to get better and better over the passing years. Both Cancer and Virgo are goal-oriented and disciplined. They are sincere and devoted to one another and share a strong sense of purpose. No lightweight love here: These two were not really built for flings! Cancer and Virgo deeply admire one another: Virgo respects Cancer's quiet strength and dedication while Cancer appreciates Virgo's keen adaptability and intelligence.

These lovers may get off to a slow start, but over time, bonds will only grow stronger. The Cancer-Virgo love match prides itself on common sense and strong principles over fluff and inconsequential or fleeting connections. They enjoy the material comforts of life, but they will only feel good about their bounty if it has come as a result of honest hard work. There could be tiffs if Virgo becomes too critical for Cancer's easily bruised feelings; Cancer needs to understand that it's just Virgo's nature to point out what they observe, that it's not a personal attack. A Virgo may bristle at their Cancer mate's stubborn streak, but it's a trait that a patient and understanding love partner like Virgo could come to appreciate. Also, Virgo's urge to serve suits Cancer's affectionate, nurturing nature well.

The Moon (Emotion) rules Cancer, and Mercury (Communication) rules Virgo. Though they're very different planets, they're both near the Sun and therefore always in one another's neighborhoods. The Moon is a mothering influence; it's about cultivation and fostering growth, which are both central concerns for Cancer. Mercury is all about communication, and it's an androgynous energy -- Virgo will adapt and take on the form that it chooses, the guise that best serves a situation. Virgo takes an intellectual approach to life (especially compared to the emotional Cancer), but still manages to be perceptive and intuitive enough to figure others out if they choose. Good thing for the Crab, then, that a Virgo mate can get a feel for devotion and domestic fulfillment if that's what their Cancer lover desires. These two won't argue about fulfilling one another's needs. They'll work at it and relish the rewards of their conscientiousness.

Cancer is a Water Sign, and Virgo is an Earth Sign. Earth Signs, true to their name, are down-to-earth, but they can also be materialistic and preoccupied with acquisition. The Cancer-Virgo love partners like to surround themselves with comfortable, well-crafted things. Water Signs rely on feeling and intuition, making Cancer the emotive force behind this relationship, in a subtle Cancer way, of course. Along with their desire for prosperity, their love of a fancy home life ensures that this couple will work hard toward this shared goal. Also, they're practical pair, and losing control is never really an issue.

Cancer is a Cardinal Sign, and Virgo is a Mutable Sign. While Cancer gets things going, Virgo thrives on a changing routine of responsibilities and challenges. Because they're so ubiquitous, Virgo will find a place in Cancer's plans if they really want to. Virgo will keep in mind Cancer's plans, and will eventually bring results even if Cancer has moved on.

What's the best aspect of Cancer-Virgo relationship? Their dedication to working toward the same goals. Both partners in this love match enjoy a stable home life and nice things, and Virgo truly enjoys helping Cancer along the way to achieving their goals. Their shared goals and desires make theirs a highly compatible love match.

Well..sad to say, my cheesecake failed and I did not know where had went wrong. Though its still edible but I'm very disappointed in myself for not able to do something that's so simple. Anyway I'll be trying it out again in Sep when I stayed over at darling's place.

Darling's friends came over from KL to attend a friend's wedding. During their stay, they actually spent about $10K within 3 days. According to them, they don't shop in KL as stuffs there are very expensive. His friend's wife bought a Christian Dior handbag which cost over $2k and still considered damn cheap.

They stayed at Fullerton which is about $900+ for 3 days. This was when I had very bad impression for the hotel. Firstly, their room is damn small and they requested for quay view but you can only see it unless u tilt yourself at the window. I felt its too overpriced. During the banquet, we called them to reserve table at their lounge. We were told its very packed and no priority will be given to hotel guests. Nevermind, we reached the place and found it wasnt crowded at all. They ordered a bottle of wine so naturally we requested for iced water. The waitress did not answer our question directly but said they have Evian & Perrier so which one do we want. Darling actually asked her twice and she gave us the same answer. Darling got so pissed off. I ordered a mocktail and it tasted horrible. I ended up feeling damn thirsty throughout the whole soccer match. Their service really sucks and they don't live up to their 6-stars standard.

OREO CHEESECAKE

Ingredients
- 2 packet Philadelphia Cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 butter block (the smallest pack)
- Sugar
- Oreo biscuit

First u have to do the Base (crust) of the cake:
1. Crush the oreo biscuits into bits (remove e creme)
2. Melt the 1/2 block of butter (using double boil method)
3. Prepare a container
4. Lay the oreo biscuit bits onto the tray until it covers the entire tray, about 1 - 2 cm thick
5. Use a spoon and add bit by bit of melted butter onto the biscuit and press using the back of the spoon. Press hard for it to stick better *Amount to use depends on how well it sticks, normally around 10 teaspoons needed
Or:- Mix the crushed Orea with butter to form a sticky, gooey paste
6. Make sure e crust is thick and cover fully so that u can cut the crust up in a piece

Next you have to do the filling part:

U need a mixer to beat the mix

1. Beat up the 2 pack of cream cheese in a big bowl into cream like paste
2. Add in to eggs, 6 teaspoon of sugar and the rest of the butter and beat evenly
3. Crush the Oreo cookies into small bits (not too small so that u can chew it and add them into the mix
4. Beat the mix

Lastly:
1. Pour the ready mix onto the crust.
2. Press slightly to prevent air bubble
3. Sprinkle oreo bits if u like
4. Wrap the tray with Bao Xian Zhi (suddenly forget what its called in Eng) and put into the fridge for around 4 hours and Serve!!
Do not frezze it

This is the receipe Karen gave me, according to her its very cheesy but the crust is nice!!

You are good. So good, that you make evil people squirm.

I've been wondering if I'm really so skinny nowadays?? Have been bumping into friends and they say the same thing. Maybe I am thinner compared to last time but I still feel I'm quite fleshy in a way. I din really go on diet maybe lack of sleep I guess, on the average I only sleep 4-6hrs every day except for weekends. That's one of the reason why my dark eye rings never get any better. Actually I'm quite supersitious whenever someone says I'm skinny, because I tend to become fat after that. So pls stop saying that to me!! *beg**beg*

&tats the end of season~4:38 PM

It was darling's birthday yesterday and so sad we din get to eat the crabs he's been craving for. Initially we had planned to eat at Outback or Hog's Breath (which was highly recommended) until I suggested to have crabs instead. Reached the place around 7 plus and its already having long queue. We decided to give it a miss and I could tell darling was quite disappointed. I told him we could go elsewhere but he din want. No choice, we ended up having dinner @ S11. I felt so bad about it but luckily I've decided to surprise him by making cheesecake (inspired by Karen...kekeke). Hopefully it won't be a failure and most importantly to get his 'appreciative' smile!

I had difficulty in getting to sleep, I was on my bed around 2 plus and I'm still wide awake 1hr later. I guessed I must have slept too much in the day, actually took a nap yesterday evening. I was supposed to attend a lunch buffet with darling's relatives but decided to sleep at home instead. Darling's father asked if he had any wedding plans during the lunch. Darling told him we would probably ROM in Feb'07 and hold the banquet later. His uncle then said its funny to have the dinner 1 yr later (which I think is very common nowadays). His mum also asked why ROM so early if we don't intend to hold the dinner within the yr. Darling told her we wanted to apply for flat, then she said go ahead if that's the case. His father suggested we just have dinner with the relatives and go for honeymoon. But still they let darling make the final decisions and it seems that his parents would not be sponsoring us. Quite some time back, my mum told me to ask money from my father for my wedding. How to ask when I haven't been talking to him for years!! We will just have to find our way out.

To hell with the smoking ban, especially when World Cup is still going on. What to do..when the government only feel for the non-smokers and not us!!!

By the way, Koko has given birth to four cute little gers on 1st July. I will upload the pics soon! I was watching the match Italy vs Ukraine at home and received darling's call. There are 2 dark brown in colour and the rest quite black tone which resembles Koko. At the moment, we still don't know if there's any long-haired. I can't wait for them to grow bigger as that's when they are the cutiest. Poor Cheeky, feeling lonely without Koko's company! I hope can bring Koko back home soon!

Yesterday I accompanied darling to pump petrol in JB. As he was about to make his payment, a Chinese nation lady went up to him and ask for money. Her story was, she just reached Malaysia and didnt have money, still waiting for her friend to meet her! C'mon!! Do you think we would buy your story? Anyway darling quickly got in and drove off, leaving her bebind mumbling. We took the shortcut and reached the Malaysia custom without getting stuck in the jam. We actually reached Singapore in less than 1hr when we could be stucked longer than that.
