I was about to blog about a joke that darling told me yesterday, until I read a cancer patient's blog which Cal forwarded.

Her sufferings really saddened me and she reminded me of a friend. Darling and I still feel sad whenever we thought of him. We regretted for not visiting him enough or be with him often when he's still around. I remembered we went to see him in hospital before leaving for our Thailand trip. He was still joking then and we bought him a magazine to kill his boredom. He's a happy-go-lucky guy, honest but cheeky at times and full of craps. I've known him since I was 14 years old and even longer than darling do. He's been having the cancer for more than 5 years but he never reminded anyone of us he's actually sick. Sounds sad right!! I don't think I would have such courage to live on if it happens to me...

Ok, enough of these sad things...Back to the joke!
Three of our friends were having coffee at Geylang and two of them had stomachache. But Geylang's toilets are famous for its smelly and dirtiness which they dreaded to visit. One of them actually came up with an idea to book into Hotel 81 for thirty minutes which only costed them $10. After they had finished their registration at the counter, the staff asked them if they needed a condom. Hahahaha!!! They were mistaken for gays having to settle their needs.. What a joke, man!!!

We had our dinner and still thinking where to watch soccer. Darling then suggested to go back his place for awhile before heading to Sembawang. I was driving then and HOLY SHIT!!! I nearly got into an accident. I was on my brakes already but the car infront just stopped out of sudden. Luckily I swerved to the left and fortunately there's no car on the lane. Or we would have missed the match and probably ended up in hospital??? Who knows?? I think darling had a fright...he was thinking that's it and I'm banging the car already. I could feel my heartbeat beating twice faster than normal and I actually trembled. Muahahaha....what an experience!

I'm feeling so tired and sleepy nowadays..all thanks to World Cup! I wished I could have my beauty sleep right now. We managed to have the grilled fish @ Bishan yesterday, it was closed when we went on Monday. Delicious!! I lost the bet on Ecuador vs Germany but lucky didn't lose much. I'm gonna try my luck again tonight....wish me LUCK!!! Think my next hp bill gonna cost me a bomb due to GPRS!

I'm so happy that I finally managed to download the songs by Shakira and Akon.

Oh gosh, I just surfed the livescore.com and it seems that the S'pore referee likes to give yellow/red cards. He actually gave a total of 10 yellow cards for the Poland match. I'm wondering what is he trying to prove???

We went to C.A.N cafe on Friday to watch the soccer along with other 2 friends..You know what I lost the bet with darling but luckily its only 10 bucks. Before this, we went shopping @ Bugis Junction and bought a pair of wedge from Pretty Fit. Shortly after that, we went to the ICON shopping 'centre'...Its just another boring place and nothing attracted me there.

C.A.N cafe again on Saturday and good gracious, darling actually toppled his coffee onto me while shifting the table. I really got abit pissed off but decided to forgive him since he apologised few times to me. Luck was not with darling as he had been losing money on the WC.

Yest we decided to watch WC at Kopishop, went to JB after the first match. Never did we expect, its JAM JAM JAM again. We had wanted to come out fast and watched the 12 midnight match. We bumped into a friend and they decided to go for a car wash instead. We were stucked with it for about 1hr plus before I got home. By the time I'm on my bed, its already 3.15 am . Darned...I'm feeling so tired now!!

It's been awhile that I went for such thing, I was worried that I won't fare well. God is not helping me and was raining heavily when I waited for the bus. Luckily I made the right choice to go back home for the umbrella but my shoes still got wet. I think my image presented was terrible and seems that I got difficulty expressing my thoughts.

Anyway the whole thing is over and I'll just have to wait for the answers.

Tomorrow is the opening of World Cup...I'm not betting anymore! Once bitten twice shy..hahaha! Most probably will accompany darling to watch the opening match - Germany vs Costa Rica. Have not decided the venue yet, hopefully its not crowded everywhere. Darling says high chances that Germany will win since its home and they are very confident but I told him vice versa. We are gonna bet between us and we shall see...kekeke!

This moment finally came after 4mths! Our insurance medical claim!! I'll be receiving a sum more than what we have expected or told of. Diamond bracelet is the next thing I had in my mind. Before I received the money, I'm already thinking of how to spend it first.....Hahaha! I've been acting like a crazy woman after I've confirmed on the claim. I just can't stop smiling and told Karen about this.

Of course, darling was so happy though his claim has yet to be confirmed. According to him, the lawyer is confident on winning for a higher claim. It's really like striking 4D and both of us intended to save up the rest for our wedding. Our friends actually teased darling that he can buy another Rolex with the money now.

I can't wait any longer, went to look for the diamond bracelet right after our dinner. I've tried a few pieces @ Lee Hwa, Goldheart & SK and I can't make up my mind. I'm quite disappointed when they only had 40% discount though I had additional 10% for member. Besides the diamond bracelet, we tried the wedding bands @ Lee Hwa and we still liked the initial design. So coincidently that the sales personnel who served us when choosing for my engagement ring was there. I intended to alter my ring so probably we'll go back to him when we purchase for our wedding bands (hoping to get a FOC charge for alteration....kekeke).

I suppose I'm having a bad, bad day...things just ain't going smoothly for me today. Early in the morning, my buses drove off without me and made me waited for ten minutes at the bus-stop. As usual, doing my weekly bankrupt calling and I had 2 farking-attitude customers. What's wrong with them?? You guys are already a bankrupt and still cannot stop being so cocky. I don't owe u guys anything...I'm in a foul mood and getting hysterical..I can't stand it anymore!!!!!!

Yest darling took his IPPT, he passed with a silver and $200. He's been bragging abt it after we met up..hahaha!

We went to Geylang to have frog's leg porridge and let me ask you..."Does anyone know how lobsters swim??" They actually swim with their tails... I didnt know abt tis until yesterday...Sounded so ignorant! Anyway we had a very full dinner and I realised I've been eating quite alot nowadays. It seems that I'm starting to put on weight slowly. *sob* *sob*
